The Soho Grand Hotel's design pays homage to the old New York and the significant eras that shaped the SoHo district, including the 1870s Gilded Age and the eclectic and artist-driven 1970s. Renowned designer Bill Sofield created the original interiors, which remain largely intact but updated. The hotel features elements such as concrete floors, plush fabrics, leather, cast-iron detailing, and magnificent artwork from local galleries, among others, all of which contribute to its overall ambiance.
Upon entering the hotel's ground-floor entrance, guests will find a grand glass-bottle staircase leading to the reception and lobby area on the second level.
